Hope R8+ LED 6 Cell Light
The Flagship light from Hope, the R8+ is a perfect lightweight light for the road or trail that can be mounted to your handlebars or head with the included head strap, putting out an impressive 4000 lumens (3000 measured).
Six modes allow you to fine tune the light output and save battery life and can be easily switched, but on full power the frame mounted 6 cell battery will keep your way illuminated for an hour. A power meter on the battery is a nice touch, showing you exactly how much juice is left. Spread and reach are both impressive and the 8 LED’s illuminate far and wide.
The 31.8mm clamp in the box is secure enough to remove any rattle or bouncing around on the trail, so you won’t suddenly find yourself illuminating your shoes as you head for a tree.
